Our biodegradable range of pouches is made of natural materials such as kraft paper, cellulose film and starch film to create sustainable and also high-performance packaging solutions.

It takes only 10 weeks (in given conditions) to break down our fully compostable pouches including ziplock! The same rule applies to all of the packaging from our biodegradable range (e.g. kraft paper biodegradable pouches with window, high barrier biodegradable pouches, other organic food-grade compostable pouches).

The principle of sustainability has been also applied to the manufacturing process, with the goal of minimising waste, reducing energy use, and limiting the use of materials (especially non-renewable ones). Our biodegradable packaging is manufactured in Europe and transported with the minimising of carbon footprint in mind. The biodegradable bags are lightweight and space-efficient so they require lower fuel costs and leave lower carbon footprint when transported (comparing to many more traditional packaging options, e.g. glass, plastic).

Moreover, what is amazing, our biodegradable pouches are tested and certified as fully compostable! They decompose in just 10 weeks (in given conditions) and can be deposited in the "compostable food waste" containers or simply composted at home.
